Oh you stuck around?!

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! As I’ve already mentioned, I’m Joshua! Migrating to the U.S. in 2011 I’ve lived most of my life in the U.S., mostly in New York City. I’ve always had a passion for art and creating things, whether that was drawing, writing, or simple crafts during my free time.

Before entering college in 2024, I’d set my mind on becoming a zoologist/veterinarian, but quickly discovered that this path was not for me, as seeing animals in pain and having to “put them down” was not something I could bring myself to do, and so I returned to art. This time I turned my focus to digital art and media. With a degree in Communications Technology (web design concentration), I can confidently say that I enjoy designing websites; however, in my senior year, I took a stab at exploring Graphic Design, which isn’t unlike Web Design, but is far different!

Becoming a Graphic Designer who works with a team to produce designs and brand identities that I personally align with is my dream job. However, I know that is a bit generic and optimistic, but nonetheless, I know that my work ethic and drive will make this dream a possibility. I’m interested in a plethora of companies and brands, most of them relating to entertainment, pet care, and non-profit/public education.

One fun fact about me is that I’m left-handed, and I love my cat (daughter) very much!
